What Music is to Me
"How are you into music?" or "What do you really find so interesting in music?" and the list of questions I get from people goes on and on. I don't blame, I mean I really can't blame anyone for not knowing the beauty of music because everyone has their own liking and own interests. Everyone has something to be proud of, something that they're really good at. Music means everything to me. I don't mean just singing or dancing or making music. It's everything. Music to me, gives sense to everything. I am so fascinated about its theory and (mostly the uninteresting stuff for everyone) but it helps me get an idea of a lot of things, now that I make music.
You'll get various tutorials on how to make music, but you won't get a single video about how to get interested in music and if there is one, well the publisher just wants views because who doesn't want to be into music. Neither can I nor can the publisher ignite that spark of life (Music ;P) in you.
It's somewhat meaningless if you just force yourself into it. There'll never be any true satisfaction. But I can promise you, music will come to you some way or another. it always will. When you're sad and you're low, you'll find yourself listening to it. When you're the complete opposite and full of happiness and joy, you'll find yourself dancing or jumping or smiling or singing. When you're writing your exam, you'll find yourself humming to the tune of you're favorite song. Boy, that happens a lot.
Music has it's own way to everyone. It found me 8 years ago. Ever since that day, I've been playing the keyboard, gave 3 practical exams and 1 theory exam. Learnt to play the piano, keyboard, bugle, trumpet, a little bit of Saxophone, drums, recorder, a little bit of guitar and ukulele and I can sing, and now I've begun making music and sampling my own beats and melodies.
Please don't get me wrong. I am in no way boasting about myself. This whole blog is meant to inspire you and to satisfy myself in trying to ignite that spark in all of you readers. It took 8 years for me to do all of that, but it can be done way more faster only if you have that real interest in achieving and understanding the very meaning and reason for the most difficult word to understand, music.
